Abstract

Widia Andrianti GAMBARAN SANITASI SUMUR GALI DAN KUALITAS BAKTERIOLOGIS AIR SUMUR GALI DI DESA SIDOMUKTI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS SUMBERAGUNG 7 5 Halaman + 14 Tabel + 10 lampiran Sumur gali adalah sumber air yang diambil dari lapisan tanah yang tidak terlalu dalam, sehingga rentan terhadap pencemaran risiko rembesan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kondisi bakteriologis air pada sumur gali, khususnya terkait dengan Escherichia coli, melihat faktor konstruksi dan sanitasi di sekitar sumur yang ada di Desa Sidomukti. Penelitian yang dilakukan bersifat observasional dengan desain deskriptif yang berbasis laboratorium. Pengamatan dan pengukuran dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar checklist dan alat ukur. Sampel diambil secara total sampling dari 9 sumur gali. Uji kualitas bakteriologis air sumur dilakukan di laboratorium dengan fokus pada parameter Escherichia coli. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semua sumur gali di Desa Sidomukti tidak memenuhi standar konstruksi dan sanitasi yang seharusnya. Dari hasil uji laboratorium, ditemukan bahwa 5 sumur tidak memenuhi standar bakteriologis untuk Escherichia coli, sedangkan 4 sumur lainnya dianggap memenuhi. Kesimpulan dari studi ini adalah 5 sumur gali (56%) tidak memenuhi kriteria untuk Escherichia coli dan 4 sumur (44%) memenuhi kriteria tersebut. Secara keseluruhan, 55% sumur tidak memenuhi syarat untuk konstruksi dan sanitasi. Disarankan agar masyarakat melakukan perbaikan atau pembangunan konstruksi sumur yang layak untuk mengurangi risiko pencemaran pada sumur gali. Petugas kesehatan juga disarankan untuk memberikan edukasi serta melakukan inspeksi sanitasi dan pemeriksaan kualitas bakteriologis air sumur gali secara berkala. This study aimed to evaluate the bacteriological condition of water in dug wells, specifically related to Escherichia coli, by examining the construction and sanitation factors surrounding the wells in Sidomukti Village. The study was observational with a descriptive laboratory-based design. Observations and measurements were conducted using checklists and measuring instruments. Samples were taken from a total of nine dug wells. Bacteriological well water quality testing was conducted in the laboratory, focusing on Escherichia coli parameters. The results showed that all dug wells in Sidomukti Village did not meet the required construction and sanitation standards. Laboratory tests found that five wells did not meet the bacteriological standards for Escherichia coli, while four others were deemed to meet them. The study concluded that five dug wells (56%) did not meet the criteria for Escherichia coli, and four wells (44%) did. Overall, 55% of the wells did not meet the construction and sanitation requirements. It is recommended that communities repair or construct adequate wells to reduce the risk of contamination in dug wells.
