Abstract

“PROSES FERMENTASI PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR (POC) DARI BAHAN BAKU SABUT KELAPA DENGAN PENAMBAHAN STARTER BIOINOKULAN”. 1x Halaman Permulaan + 79 Halaman isi + 17 Tabel + 6 Gambar + 2 Lampiran Pupuk organik cair merupakan jenis pupuk yang terbuat dari kotoran hewan, tanaman, dan bahan organik yang telah mengalami proses degredasi fisik atau biologis, sehingga membentuk larutan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu pembuatan pupuk organik cair dari bahan organik sabut kelapa yang diberi penambahan bioinokulan Sanbio SBS, EM4, kontrol lalu membandingkan lama kematangan, dan melakukan pengukuran fisik pH, warna, dan bau. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik eksperimen dengan menggunakan 3 variasi yaitu Sanbio SBS, EM4 (0,125%) dan tanpa penambahan bioinokulan apapun (kontrol) dengan metode fermentasi anaerob. Uji yang digunakan yaitu Anova One Way dan menggunakan analitik multivariat. Melakukan pengamatan pH, warna, dan bau yang dilakukan setiap harinya hingga salah satu variasi menunjukkan ciri-ciri pupuk organik cair matang. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa pupuk organik cair dengan penambahan Sanbio SBS matang pada hari ke-13 dengan pH (6-7), warna kuning kecoklatan, dan tidak berbau (netral), EM4 matang lebih dari 14 hari dengan pH (6-7), warna kuning kecoklatan,dan tidak berbau (netral), dan kontrol matang pada hari ke-22 dengan pH (5-6) warna coklat muda, dan bau fermentasi (asam). Uji Anova pH H0 ditolak jika ρ -value < (α=0.05) sehingga terdapat perbedaan lama kematangan pupuk organik cair yang diberi Sanbio SBS dan EM4. Perlu penambahan waktu lebih lama dalam proses fermentasi agar menghasilkan pupuk organik cair sabut kelapa yang lebih baik. ABSTRACT Novita Diah Ayu Pangesti “LIQUID ORGANIC FERTILIZER (POC) FERMENTATION PROCESS FROM COCONUT FIBER RAW MATERIAL WITH THE ADDITION OF BIOINOCULANT STARTER”. 1x Beginning Page + 79 Content Page + 17 Tables + 6 Figure + 2 Attachments Liquid organic fertilizer is a type of fertilizer made from animal waste, plants, and organic materials that have undergone a physical or biological degradation process, thus forming a solution. The purpose of this study was to make liquid organic fertilizer from coconut fiber organic materials which were given the addition of Sanbio SBS, EM4, control bioinoculants, then compare the maturity period, and conduct physical measurements of pH, color, and odor. This study is an experimental analytical study using 3 variations, namely Sanbio SBS, EM4 (0.125%) and without the addition of any bioinoculants (control) with the anaerobic fermentation method. The test used was Anova One Way and used multivariate analytics. Conducting observations of pH, color, and odor carried out every day until one variation shows the characteristics of mature liquid organic fertilizer. From the results of the study, it was found that liquid organic fertilizer with the addition of Sanbio SBS matured on the 13th day with a pH (6-7), brownish yellow color, and odorless (neutral), EM4 matured more than 14 days with a pH (6-7), brownish yellow color, and odorless (neutral), and the control matured on the 22nd day with a pH (5-6) light brown color, and a fermented odor (sour). The Anova pH H0 test was rejected if the ρ -value < (α = 0.05) so that there was a difference in the maturity of the liquid organic fertilizer given Sanbio SBS and EM4. It is necessary to add more time in the fermentation process to produce better coconut fiber liquid organic fertilizer.
