Abstract

ABSTRAK Berliana Heksa Surya Amanda Efektivitas Rebusan Daun Singkong (Manihot Utilissima) Sebagai Bioinsektisida Terhadap Nyamuk Aedes Aegypti Dengan Metode Elektrik Cair 6 6 Halaman + 11 Tabel + 5 Gambar + 1 Lampiran Nyamuk Aedes aegypti merupakan vektor penyakit demam berdarah yang masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat. Penggunaan insektisida kimia secara berlebihan dapat menyebabkan resistensi dan mencemari lingkungan, sehingga dibutuhkan solusi alami yang lebih aman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas rebusan daun singkong (Manihot utilissima) sebagai bioinsektisida terhadap nyamuk Aedes aegypti dengan metode elektrik cair. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan lima perlakuan: 0% (kontrol), 70%, 80%, 90%, dan 100% konsentrasi. Rebusan daun singkong diuapkan menggunakan alat elektrik cair selama 2 jam terhadap 10 ekor nyamuk per kelompok. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa semakin besar konsentrasi rebusan daun singkong, semakin tinggi tingkat mortalitas nyamuk. Rata-rata mortalitas nyamuk pada konsentrasi 70% adalah 3,2 ekor (32%), 80% sebanyak 4,4 ekor (44%), 90% sebanyak 5,6 ekor (56%), dan 100% sebanyak 7 ekor (70%), sementara kelompok kontrol tidak menunjukkan mortalitas (0%). Uji Kruskal-Wallis mengindikasikan perbedaan signifikan antara kelompok perlakuan (p < 0,05), yang menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi mempengaruhi secara nyata tingkat mortalitas nyamuk. Rebusan daun singkong dengan metode elektrik cair terbukti efektif sebagai bioinsektisida alami terhadap nyamuk Aedes aegypti. Semakin tinggi konsentrasi yang digunakan, semakin besar efeknya dalam menyebabkan mortalitas nyamuk dewasa dalam waktu pemaparan 2 jam. Excessive use of chemical insecticides can lead to resistance and environmental pollution, thus a safer and more natural solution is needed. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of cassava leaf (Manihot utilissima) decoction as a bioinsecticide against Aedes aegypti mosquitoes using an electric liquid method. The research method was an experimental design with five treatments: 0% (control), 70%, 80%, 90%, and 100% concentrations. The cassava leaf decoction was vaporized using an electric liquid device for 2 hours on groups of 10 adult mosquitoes per treatment. Results showed that the higher the concentration of cassava leaf decoction, the higher the mosquito mortality rate. The average mortality rates were 32% (3.2 mosquitoes) at 70%, 44% at 80%, 56% at 90%, and 70% at 100%, while the control group showed no mortality (0%). Kruskal-Wallis test indicated a significant difference between treatment groups (p < 0.05), suggesting that concentration had a significant effect on mosquito mortality. Cassava leaf decoction applied through the electric liquid method proved effective as a natural bioinsecticide against Aedes aegypti. The higher the concentration used, the greater its effect in causing adult mosquito mortality within 2 hours of exposure.
