Abstract
Personal hygiene significantly contributes an individual’s health status, especially in preventing the occurrence of diseases, including skin disorders. elderly individuals unable to maintain proper personal hygiene are at risk of dermatitis. This study aims to identify personal hygiene practices among elderly individuals experiencing dermatitis at UPTD Griya Wreda Jambangan Surabaya by 2025. The design employed in this study is a descriptive study of a sample of 35 idividuals who experienced dermatitis, using the total sampling technique. The variables of this study are personal hygiene and data collection using questionnaires. The data analysis found that as sufficient by 22 (62,9%) elderly individuals. The study summarizes that the group elderly in maintains sufficient personal hygiene practices, including bathing, hand washing, hair, mounth and teeth cleaning and changing clothes.
